Your birth certificate, translated and certified — done right the first time

Need your birth certificate translated for USCIS, a passport application or any other U.S. authority? EKO 4 delivers a certified birth-certificate translation prepared to USCIS requirements: a complete, word-for-word translation by a sworn human translator, with a signed certificate of translation accuracy on official company letterhead, finished with our wet stamp — and backed by our 100% acceptance guarantee. Express 24-hour service is available, from any of our 72 languages.

The birth certificate is the document we translate most, and it is where a single mistranslated name or date causes the biggest delays — so every certificate is translated by an accredited linguist and reviewed by a native-speaking proofreader before certification. Since 1991, and on every certificate, we strive to be the most affordable, the most accurate, providing the best quality of service. Receive it digitally, by mail with wet stamps, or pick it up at one of our offices.

What USCIS requires from a birth-certificate translation

USCIS rules (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)) are strict but simple — every certified translation we deliver meets them all:

  • A complete, word-for-word English translation — every entry must be translated, including stamps, seals, registrar annotations and handwritten notes — nothing summarized, nothing skipped.
  • The translator’s signed certification — a statement that the translator is competent in both languages and that the translation is accurate and complete, with name, signature, address and date.
  • An independent, professional translator — USCIS does not accept translations made by you or your family members — the translator must be an impartial third party.
  • A legible copy of the original attached — the translation is submitted together with a copy of your certificate — never send your original document to USCIS.
  • Notarization only when the receiver asks — USCIS itself does not require notarization — the certification statement is enough. Consulates and some state agencies do; we add notarization in the same order when needed.

How it works

1

Send a photo or scan

Upload your certificate through the free estimate form or the online order wizard — a clear phone photo is enough. Never mail your original.

2

Get a free exact quote

Most birth certificates are a single page — we confirm the page count, price and deadline before you pay anything.

3

Sworn translation & certification

An accredited translator translates it word for word, a native proofreader reviews it, and we attach the signed certificate of accuracy.

4

Delivery your way

Digital copy by email — as fast as 24 hours — plus a physical copy with wet stamps by mail or office pickup.

Need it official? One order covers it

Certification, notarization and apostille — the whole legalization chain handled in-house, in the same online order.

1

Certified translation

A signed accuracy affidavit, official company letterhead and wet stamp — accepted by USCIS, courts and all authorities.

2

Notarization

A licensed Florida notary notarizes your translation 100% online — ready as fast as the next business day.

3

Apostille

A Florida Department of State apostille, handled for you end to end — as fast as 4 business days.

Birth-certificate translation — questions & answers

1Is your birth-certificate translation accepted by USCIS?
Yes. Every translation is prepared to USCIS requirements under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) — complete and word-for-word, with the translator’s signed certification of accuracy and competence — and is backed by our 100% acceptance guarantee. We have delivered USCIS-accepted certified translations for over a decade.
2Do I need to notarize the translation for USCIS?
No — USCIS does not require notarization; the signed certification statement is sufficient. Some other receivers, such as foreign consulates or certain state agencies, do ask for it. Tell us where your certificate is going and we will advise you for free — and add notarization in the same order if needed.
3Can I translate my own birth certificate?
Not for USCIS — the translation must come from an independent, competent translator, not from you or a family member. Our sworn translators certify every translation with a signed statement of accuracy that immigration officers recognize.
4How fast can I get my birth certificate translated?
Most birth certificates are a single page, which makes them our fastest work: express 24-hour service is available, and urgent certificates are often ready the same day. Notarization can be added by the next business day, and an apostille as fast as 4 business days.
5My certificate has stamps, seals and handwriting — are those translated too?
Yes. USCIS requires everything on the document to be translated, so stamps, seals, registrar annotations and handwritten notes are all included, word for word. Anything illegible is marked as such, following standard certification practice, and the layout mirrors your original so officials can compare the two at a glance.
